There are 4 main things that will be helpful to know before using the site. Click on any of the points below to expand and view more details & example pictures.

  • Ask, Reply & Browse
At any point in the site you are either asking, replying or browsing questions.

You will receive a certain amount of credits when you sign up and you need to assign some of these credits to ask your questions.

For replying to other people's questions, you do not require credits. But when people select your reply as the answer they like, you will be rewarded with the number credits that they assigned to the question when it was posted, as your score.
  • Accepting a Reply
After you have posted your questions, give it some time to get a few replies from different members. When you are ready to accept an answer, click on 'accept this reply'. By doing this the person whose reply you have accepted will receive the credits that you assigned to the question, as their score.
  • Importance of credits
The credits are like a 'currency'. you start off with 'X' amount of credits when you sign up, and spend them to ask questions. You can earn credits when people select your reply as the answer they like. The points you earn will be added to both your 'credits available' and 'member score'.

Credits available shows you how many credits you still have to spend on asking questions.

Memeber score shows how many credits you have earnt and accumulated when any of your replies have been accepted as the answer. When you sign up your member score starts at zero.
  • Two categories of questions
Questions can be either un-answered or answered.

Questions are un-answered when the asker of the question have not selected a reply as an answer.

Questions are answered when the asker of the question chooses to accept one Reply as the answer to the question. The member whose reply is chosen as the Answer is awarded the credits.
