Well, actually i've seen online Muslim matrimonial sites or chat rooms. All i got was mostly Arabs and Indians from India. I don't like that way of getting to know someone, since its starting off too prematurely. I like to get to know people as friends and develop friendships.

So in terms of Singapore context, any suggestion on where to find Singapore Muslim singles. online isn't what I'm looking for. Thanks.

p.s: can you find Singapore Singles muslim online?? if you have any website, do share. i can't find any on google except for those none Singaporean website.

Ohh personally I don't think shirurinu gives a very sensible answer...You have to first ask yourself how do you define eligible? Well, people may go for looks, status, personality etc etc. So make sure this point is clear before you go for the next step. Recently, I just read my friend's blog saying that usually if you are single, your friends will recommend you the person that suits you well. So this is explains the next step. You must first be in a Jemaah. Hence, you will not worry if that person recommended is bad because your friends know him/her well enough. Ways to be in a jemaah is plentiful like joining volunteering work, ceramah, classes. But you should also have the right niat that is...otherwise getting involved in that particular thing will just be a waste of time to you..And talking about going to the gym, that is not the main reason why people go there. Maybe some small portion of them may be thinking that way but really the main reason to go there is to stay fit. So I hope you will accept my suggestions with an open heart. If not, then forgive me. I am only human.

Masha-Allah Maya, you gave a very good reply, May Allah bless you. I met my husband thru online muslim matrimonial site. Alhamdullilah we are blessed with 2 beautiful boys now. Like Maya said your intention (niat) must be sincere. Back in Singapore I wasn't into the dating scene. It's hard to get someone with the same frame of mind like me. I want to do the Islamic way. I got to know my husband for a few months then we both did the Istiharah and alhamdullilah within 3 months we were engaged. Of course before I was engaged I make a thorough check abt him (I got him to fax me and send copies of his bank details, work details etc etc). We have been married for abt 5 years now.

Cola Max the website that I went to was a Arab matrimonial website. Instead I got a reply from a Turkish Australian and speaks a lil bit of Malay :)
