But u can forget abt softwares on any laptop or PC coz u can always install it yourself. Mine is Dell but it came with XP 2-3 yrs back. i formated everything on it and install all softwares plus an OS windows vista.
you pay wht you get as well. for $1000, you won;t get a powerful laptop but you will get a decent better desktop with that amount of money.
