Q. Is there a prepaid wireless broadband in Singapore?

Salaam,

Is there a prepaid broadband wireless service that i can subscribe to in Singapore? I'll be needing it for a couple of day. Will be outdoors most of the time, so it's useful to have one while on the move.

Salaam bro,

there are prepaid ones you can get. pay only when you use it.

you can check out at starhub or singtel. they have particular service you are looking for.

but if you got your handphone to synchronize with your laptop, you can also surf the internet through your sim card. It may be costly. But like you said, couple of days unless you need it all the time, i recommend you to get a dongler from m1 vodafone or starhub.

You can find your hotspot areas here:
http://home.singtel.com/wirele.../

There are a list of providers here:
http://www.starhub.com/portal/...

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that. Except for SingTel, the rest do not have a prepaid mobile broadband. :S

I can't sign a contract with them as i only need the internet for only 5 day while im in Singapore.

Am i missing something? Do the other 2 providers actually have prepaid services without signing any a 12 month or 24 months contract.

Consider using the free WirelessSG Accounts at malls.

Its quite reliable but you need to find the Hotspots which are available at most Shopping Centers and Community Centers.

Try that out first
