Marriage to muslim is an obligation and strongly encouraged.
But I dont think getting married to build a family has in anybody's mind as a achievement. At least not to me though. Maybe it fufills a relationship after courting.
But some marriages are arranged, hence not necessarily an achievement for couple except maybe for their parents.

In my opinion, getting married is not achievement but instead the biggest achievement is able build a long lasting happy family and managing well during the ups and downs of the family life. Passing the good examples to the next generation.

i know for some it is a goal to be married but they need to get a guy first. hehe

Getting married personally is like any other thing in my life, like having an education. It more like necessity to have a companionship. like a job is necessary to have a decent life, just like having a roof over my head, food to eat, and clean clothes.

so no its not an achievement in my opinion, just like how saykool mentions.

the ultimate achievement is to be at peace in whatever you do.

Getting married should not be main goal but finding a righteous partner should be. It is sunnah to be married when you fine a suitable life partner.
