I have seen many Muslims who have very good theoretical knowledge about Islam and yet miss the fundermentals about love and peace and tolerance. This really makes me wonder if there are classes out there that teaches Practical islam. Does anyone know of such classes being held ?

I think it is more to the application in our daily lives.
Obviously to my knowledge, there is no such class existed.
You might have highlighted a very good point but sadly, the practical part is the huge problem.
I have seen people who said that they have learnt about zakat etc , but when comes to the real thing, i think he might have forgottened it .
I have also learnt that whatever knowledge , whatever ( maths, science , fiqh , design etc ) , if you do not practice them, then it might not benefit you at all..
I also think that it is up to our own's responsibility to go and practice the knowledge that we have gathered .
" There is no compulsion in religion" 2:256 says all...
So, if the person learnt that hukum but doesn't practice it in practical, it is sad. We could only advice him but could not force him.
