Epiphone les paul. Not bad guitar. it is good in playing clean sound. The guitar is heavy in weight . Manufacturing wise is very good. it all matter wat type of sound you are going for. different guitar have its on sound.

If you are playing emo, alternative rock, soft rock, jazz super good. its sound blend nicely with this types of genres.

If you are playing heavy metal, not say i tell you that les paul is not good but there is a better guitar out there. like ltd, esp les paul and so many more.

wat people do most just change the pickup to 'emg' pick up. so you can play heavy metal too.

wat i suggest is that go to swee lee and try the guitar. the price of the guitar about $600 for a good 1.

Can the 'emg' pickup play emo, alternative rock, soft rock, jazz and classical? Is the guitar really very heavy?

But Swee Lee's guitars are very expensive. The Epiphone Les Paul guitar Custom cost about 1000dollars for the guitar itself. Guitar 77 sells it at 939dollars with package and amps. But thanks anyway.

hello.i own a epiphone les paul.its a good guitar.its actually heavier than a gibson as they use more thick cheaper wood and a gibson uses expensive good quality wood but we all most likely won't hear the difference cuz most of the time we're using distortion....any way a epiphone les paul special ii is $300(prices r estimated) les paul 100 $450 les paul standard (i got my les paul standard on offer for $550+hard case) but if no offer abt 700 maybe less now.les paul custom(dun bother getting as its the same as standard just paying for the name)***however if u do find a LP custom made in japan or korean for below 1000 pls buy it****a les paul standard shld be good for emo classical alternative metal almost any thing BUT shredding..... Farishi y must mention my full name like i'm a brand of guitar:-)lol.... anyway in my opinion i think a ibanez rg or sa model would also suit ur styles PLUS u can shred wit them.but the best thing is to just test out and see wat suits u and don't be preassure into buying by the sales man or ur frens..... hope this helps:-)

Thanks. Guitar 77 has a new shipment of Les Paul guitars. But I'm not sure whether it's MIC oor MIK. But I'm a newbie in guitars. I just started playing not long ago. Is Les Paul Custom good enough for me?

in my opinion LP custom is good enough...but its all up to u...go try the guitar see if u like how the fret board feels, the sound of the guitar, the colour etc....its all up to u.dun be preassured by anyone, even if u've been play guitar for 10 day or 10 years the whole decision of the guitar is up to u...for u'll be the one playing it.if after u've tried it and feel that u dun like it just DON'T buy it,and if u LIKE it tell the shop man to keep it for u,go have ur lunch and think abt every detail of the guitar, dun be afraid to change your mind at the last min.and after u've thought through every thing than proceed to buy it...

But I really don't know what the sound, sound like. I'm not sure whether it's nice or not. Is the Epiphone LEs Paul Custom good in classical, blues, rock, punk and emo? Or is there another guitar that is good but below 1000dollars with amps and stuff. Please HELP!

But swee lee's stuff are muc more expensive than G77. When is SL's sale or G77's sale?

I prefer playing thse songs that need the guitar as the bass of the whole song.

Acutally I don't really want Epiphone, i prefer Gibson. But Gibson is way too expensive.

Hi Black Kunji.. Thanks for coming back to your question and contributing to it.

You have asked a second question in this question about 'epiphone guitar', which already has an answer accepted.

I would like to advise that isn't allowed on NB:lounge, and would suggest that you ask a new question regarding 'SL's sale or G77's sale'

The reasons being:

* more members will see your new question and you will have a better chance of getting a reply, as answered questions do not appear by default on the browse page (your question will not be seen if members browse through topics of 'un-answered questions') and also it won't appear in the new questions list.

* any answers you might get in this question cannot be accepted and rewarded with points, and this is unfair to members.

* as your current title is about "Epiphone Guitar" and not about SL's sale or G&&'s sale. someone searching for 'SL sale' will not find it easily.

So, to increase your chances of getting an answer, please post a new set of questions for this subject. Members who do not have an Epiphone Guitar may still know about this sale. and might answer your question.

what you can do is to put a link to your new question in this question so PaulBaul, farishi and sultana know about it and can reply in your new question.

Could you please do this as soon as possible. Our moderators will come around again tomorrow to check on this. This site isn't a regular forum, and we hope you understand so that we, along with our valuable members help can build a quality base of information.

In the famous "Dueling Banjos" scene in the 1972 motion picture Deliverance, actor Ronny Cox plays an Epiphone acoustic guitar. Epiphone is a very reliable brand. the best National prices can be found at http://www.lamusic.ca
lots of Epiphone Les paul's to browse!
