why is this site not using a familiar Forum-like format? will it not be easier to ask/reply to questions?
or maybe its just me =)
but really love the design, wonderful colors. and smooth interface, navigation too... the points system is unique.

There are many features and how this site works that are not supported by the normal Forum- like-format.
For starters, this website isn't a forum. it's an Ask and Answer website. Open ended discussions are the norm in Forum. In this website, the asker is expected to accept an answer to 'close the question'.
There is also popularity vote ranking, and members will receive ranking shields from the score points. you can also write up your own profile, add buddies and send message to other members.
To understand more, you can read " about us" , "how it works" , "Shields and points".
To see top member performance in terms of points and contribution, you can check out the " hall of Fame" page.
All this can be found on the top tabs.
Are you finding it hard or confusing to Reply/ Ask question? what do you suggest?
We are actually looking for someone who is willing to volunteer some of their time to do some IT stuff on the site. let me know if you are interested.
