Q. Malay or Indian muslim foods are good?

Both of them have their own unique style of cooking and the taste of the food. Both are excellent. For me, i prefer the Nasi lemak at boon lay.

i was wondering what type of food is preferable within the Muslims in Singapore. Thanks

Malay food is ok..but i prefer Indian food. more variety.

i think Malay food in Singapore is quite constrain. Coz i'm sure there's many variety of Malay food which Singaporean are not exposed to.

Like indian food, there are different types of indian food, depending on which area of India its coming from. So i suspect, It's the same for malay food, only thing we don't see it. (hehe maybe i don't see it )

Ps: Try Indo Chinese food...its a hybrid of Chinese and Indian cooking.

Malay food has its own taste and aroma, but Malay foods are not spicy enough, if one love spicy food, then Indian foods are better... Nasi Biriyani is one of the best and tasty food, recently I enjoyed a very good biriyani from one neighbourhood restaurant at blk 117 Bedok reservoir road, al waris. Since I eat Biriyani from many in Singapore, this seems to be one ofthe best.
