a fusion wedding.
Hi kik sorry for the late reply as It's fine here don't worry :). I suggest you can go to this Singaporebrides.com. there used to be a forum for malay mixed marriages, but I not sure the thread is still active.. It's a good place to start, it you have not a idea first :)
Anyway it's congrats both of you that two different cultural backgrounds could finally get married together,
The 'lady' l'm going out with is also a chinese, though I'm not sure I would be as lucky as you in the future. Her faith is a (christian) methodist, I'm a muslim, (seems tough ahead..). I just hope both of us would as lucky as you in the future :)
Hi there Fariz,
Well I tried SingaporeBrides but it confuses me much. Nevertheless, thank you so very very much for the kind input.
Oh chinese too? =) Well, what's meant to be will be. I'm actually Catholic but am converting. Things happen. =) It's like what I always tell my friends, I've had a couple of malay boyfriends before and I swore I'd never convert.
One day, I met him, who is the first guy who never ever forced me to convert and suddenly, out of God's grace, I WANT to convert.
Things happen. =)
Once again, thanks to much.
And good luck to you.
I'm not sure whether I can be of any help to you.
I can help to give ideas on the "ERP Gantry" part. hahaha
Do you have friends or siblings to help you on ur side?
Maybe we could talk....
It so great that your parents bless your wedding...
And welcome to the converts' club, we have around 5-6 mixed marriage couples....we need one another's support....
can email me at draling@gmail.com
Hi Draling,
I will get down to emailing you as soon as I have a clearer idea of what the finalized plan might be. =)
Thanks so much!

hey everyone.
i know it seems pretty odd that a chinese girl would be on this web community but i desperately need help.
we're planning to get married in January and till now are absolutely clueless and unprepared, which i fear we might not be able to handle our time enough.
since we're both from different cultural backgrounds, we decided the wedding would be a mix of chinese and malay traditions, specifically, chinese in the morning [door blocking/tea ceremony] and the full bloom lavish malay banquet.
i'm terribly regretful about posting another question about wedding caterers but... most of the answers to previous questions only seem to cater to the malay part of the wedding only. none to infuse the chinese side. so...
if anyone has suggestions about where i can find a full package [bridal gowns/photography and videography/entertainment/wedding planner/catering/decor] yet affordable [i am pretty bad at planning myself] please please pleaseeeeeeee will you please help me?
thank you so much!
