Q. Will your toba accepted as well as the act of marriage?

If you made a mistake in your past and had sex before marriage but realized that you loved that person down the road in life, would you be able to marry him or her?

Would it be possible to marry them after making "toba" to Allah (swt)?
Or would the whole marriage be unlawful and haram?

Premarital sex (Zina) is haram and you already know its a mistake, so both of you must of course repent (Toba). Under Islamic Syariah it is considered as one of the greatest sins punishable by 100 lashes. If you live in an Islamic country with Syariah Law and found guilty, you'll have to face the consequences. If you live in other countries you may escape this worldly punishment but unrepented, we dread to face Allah's punishment in the hereafter.

If both of you love each other then the best is to get married - may both of you live a happy life as husband and wife.

If the marriage is performed according to proper Islamic way then its a lawful marriage.

With regard to repenting or toba, it is to seek forgiveness from Allah and never to repeat it again. My advice is do not take repenting lightly as Allah's punishment in the hereafter is Severe.
