Q. Comments on "THE SECRET"

Oh i've watch it. it's good.

I think there's some truth to visualizing what you want coz subconsciously you will work towards that. Ultimately, you will need to take some actions to get you want.

We go through our lives dreaming or visualizing on getting something,like a higher paying job, or getting the most perfect marriage, more time, being rich, going to Heaven..etc but then sabotaging ourself by saying it's not possible to get that. So the next step in visualizing and requesting to God or for someone who doesn't believe in god is to request to the universe, is to take actions.

Interestingly THE SECRET is a project from students from Landmark education. Like alot of movies that you watch these days are a community project out of Landmark Education. This Education isn't like what you watch in THE SECRET.

If you are intrigue by The Secret, you will definately LOVE landmark Forum.

I went thorough that education before getting hold on the SECRET... but yea..after watching tht, i found tht landmark is many steps ahead in providing us with the tools for us to generate many possibility in living the life we love, even though we are afraid. Like we are afraid to ask our boss for a pay raise, or afraid to start our own business, afraid to stand up and speak our minds..etc. Each people will get something different and unique out of it, coz all of us are different.

Yes..sultanas correct. I have read about it and from others myself. Actually, it wasnt something new in life, reproduction of human thinking always reoccur in few generations. Money and marketing on one hand hmm..well everything goes... :)

While good things can be made to happen by 'visualizing' what you want to happen. Amazing yet problem is, by whom? by who? If Hitler is also what someone mean, by his 'perfect race' ideology, I have nooo comments...

Probably why religion seems to prevail...a human mind, a mysterious yet imperfect creation. Powerful tool, yet with all the minds pull together it can't make the Earth a peaceful place for every creature and living being alive. Even the angels have mocked "us" in the Quran, not directly though,

"Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

From 1400 years ago till today, no man or woman have proved this verse wrong :)

And if there's anyone out there who is a Sheikh or someone who can kindly help me to pose this questin to Ustaz/Ustazah and who know about THE SECRET. Please tell me if it is okay to visualise what you want by creating a visualization board and escape from negative emotins by using EFT(Emotinal Freedom Technique) and your opinions regarding THE SECRET if possible in detail. Thanks:)

The Secret, the law of attarction is not a New concept. In the documentry you will find that positive thinking, stating your intention and requestion you intention to the 'universe' has impact in getting what we want in our life.

Hence the clue in Why islam prescribe Prayer, 5 times a day and having intensions in wht we do. As in our prayer that is what we do..we are requestion to the Almighty, reading positive passages in the quran and saying doa regarding what we want and need.

On top of that, the Quran also warns that we have to take actions in what we want to do. I mean that is logical..if we want a new car for example..the car is not gonna come to your door step. you will have to go to the car dealer, have a look at it and then take the actions to purchase it.

So like if you wanna improve in your replationship for example and you keep praying and praying for it to happen. Magic won't happen overnight. What is required is for you to take some action on yourself to make that request happen. if your actions is based on something you have been doing in the past (which shows that it wouldn;t change anything much) Then it would take painfully long (or nothing much at all ) for anythgin to happen. If you however take on actions that are consistent in your request, then you will gradually see results.

And also request not only to God, but also people around you. We have to share wht we want with other people. Like if you everyday share with your husband tht you request the relationship to be fun and entertaining. then, not only will he knows that, but your whole surrounding will know that and you will find things opening up for you if you keep doing that. And along with that, take action that will bring about fun and excitement in the relationship. If you get to a point where u think it's not working, then, don;t ever stop doing it. Before anythgin gets better, it get really bad. As long as you hang in there and keep persisting...you will get what you want.

As for the subconcious part.. wht i mean is that the more you keep saying and requesting it, the more you will wanna take actions on it.
