Sometimes, beautiful poems and proses are crafted out to pillars and walls of architectural buildings. The Quran, being as magnificient Arabic expression par excellence, is often crafted on the walls of buldings (e.g. Dome of the Rock, Granada Cordova medieval Islamic architecture in Spain, mosques...etc..)

I'm not really familiar with architecture but I can appreciate good solid lines and neat construction. Does that qualify?

True in all words...beauty is seen in all things, whether in the sight, sound and touch :)
But of course as humans, we all have limits and freedom which we must observe. I am quite affected about the life of extreme these days e.g. extreme sports, extreme eating ( just for enjoyment), extreme ideologies, extreme graphic representation in media and fashion, extreme pornography, extreme demand among standard of living among certain societies etc...
Speaking of "open and modern society" :( ...seems at some point our generation kinda like failing. The good point is that religious awareness is growing amidst these times, which unsuprisingly, gained a lot of attention among media, politicans and debates in this world today.
