As an individual, Yes with calculated risk. IE assured inflow in the country of resident to cover the expenses.
Why... it is adventure, broader view in life, appreciation of what you have...enhancing varieties.

But if you come from a country with hardship, it would most probably be Yes again whatever the risks could be.

As Singaporean in general, very unlikely as it seems most are comfortable with what they setup for themselves and their family.
