As a person who lived abroad and use to deal with international students, I find that south east asians find it hard to mix with people from a different race and background. i guess it's understandable to be surrounded by something familiar, especially when you just arrive in a foreign country. But as you gradually get use to your environment, my advice would be to be around other people from a different background as that would be one of the most valuable experience you will take with you during your stay abroad.

This will be useful for others who will be moving there. I remember another member was asking for muslim org in Netherlands.
