What do you love most about your parents?

hrmm...my parents are intellectual people. besides them being supportive and caring (in their own way), what i most love about them is their strive for knowledge and constant discussion about many things around them.

My parents are very close and loving because of their constant communication. they are each other's best friend. That is where i got my benchmark for finding my spouse.

My parents never quarrelled in from of my siblings and me. They never seemed to have any misunderstandings between one another. Even if they do, they could somehow resolve it quietly in their room. In a way, I appreciate the way they solve their problems. Also, whenever they are faced with problems, they also seek our opinions about things. Through this, we were able to share with one another our different opinions.

I owe my existence to them. They cared for me and they sheltered me till I could stand on my own. In this case, I love them more than myself and I wish they were still alive for I have yet to repay them suffciently.

This is a gentle reminder for those fortunate ones out there. if you still have your parents, treasure them and treat them with kindness for their Doa will go a long way towards your well being. Insya Allah.

Whenever I think of them, i become teary. I love this bond that they injected in me.
