Q. getting married in new zealand

if we intend to get married in new zealand will it be recognised in singapore when we are back in singapore in the future?

if your marriage document is signed and legal....technically speacking i don't see how it's not reconize in Singapore. It's best you find out from ROM.

If u r married under the civil law in new zealand, it will be considered as valid in singapore. But u can also registered at ROM for the civil law to apply in ur marriage in case things go wrong.

However if its a marriage between non muslim and muslims, We have given enough and many answers in website. pls check them out.
