Space exploration
Erm, the Quran doesn't anticipate anything like that. However, the sunnah for a corpse is just to bury it in a respectful manner which I don't think matters if it is on earth or another planet.
The haven and earth are made by Allah. There's nothing in the Quran which suggest that we can't migrate to another planet.
As for death, we need to clean and bath the body, wrap it in white plain cloth ( the cheapest you can find) and bury the body. There no indication that burial has to be on Earth as well.
ermm.... like. i was wondering what the point of space travel is.
i do recall that there are millions in poverty, but we seem to think it's more 'important' to check whether there's water on mars.
well hey.
can we spell... p.r.i.o.r.i.t.i.e.s
oh my bad.
we might discover a new species on another planet that may do a better job at being human than we are.
i'm all for that .

I know we can space travel and pray etc, it is only travel.
But is it, according to the Koran, accepted to move to another planet or satellite to settle live and die there. Or do my ashes, bones have to return to earth.?
