So-called "disturbing article" about original Quran

Just yesterday, my muslim friend forwarded an email regarding the link to this website,

www.free-minds.org/articles/sc...

It's linking to a pdf article where the author challenge the authenticity of the originality of Quran. It's obvious it's childish and un-professional, but I hope anyone, muslim or non-muslim gives a honest opinion on this article. :)

I'm not a scholar, but are there anyone who could gave a reply or good defence to the article ? It's would be a amazing contribution to close the misunderstanding of Islam to our muslims and non-muslims ahead :)

People are entitled to their own views. Just like the glass is half emty or half full. The more important thing is that in your own mind it is clear what Islam is all about. Allah says that if we can we try to change with our actions, words or the worst in our hearts. You are disturbed, which is great ... because it shows that you are trully concerned. leave it in the hands of people who can take it up like what you have done ... letting others know. You have done your part and leave it in the hands of Allah. Allah said that He has completed our religion and will protect it till judgment day. We can rest assured that He will do His part for sure. May your heart be filled with peace.... Ameen.

I knowHowever, I fear the problem it's about us muslim. It's quite distressing that the anti-muslims propaganda and distibution of media is larger and more active than ever (just take a search browse and you get the idea...)

One who search in the internet could easily find or donwload free e-books or info on the 'real' 'Islam'. Naturally, unless you're in comparative religion or religious scholar, one could get easily enticed/get hold/attracted with such information, 'they' could feed in a website/article with the so-called 'truth' about Islam from the WWW(world wide web).

Let's us face it muslims, how many muslims read AND understand the meaning of Quran today. Though there are many who could recite during prayers, however few would be knowledgeable enough about the meaning or intrepetation of Quran. I'm more worried about the young muslims and innocent non-muslims who are still new in Islam or interested about islam. If such thing were escalate, it could be a problem with/for muslims today, not Islam. I know some would easily contented with the 'good to pray to Allah for protection and guidance', but NATO(No Action, Talk Only)/or pray only, in defintely not the message of Islam.(13:11 Quran)

It's just my opinion of thought, Probably that's why I seek who can seek to clear the article on the pdf on the misconception. There is books written in market or by Islam scholars who refuted this subject of misconception of course, wha we need is a pdf FREE to distribute <sigh>. Hope I'm not complaining too much...Salaam

well,...
as far as i know there are more than two "types" of HOW to WRITE and READ quran.
if i'm not mistaken there are seven "types".

there is no problöem at all.
we MAKE the problem actually, coz of lack of our knowledge!.

if you go to marocco the write fa with a point below the letter and qaf is only one point but above the letter.

and the read hamma latu-l hathab instead of hamma lata-lhathab.

and so many defferences in writing adn reading but the most important is the meaning af the ayah IS THE SAME.

don't make much a do about nothing!
