We have been approached by many new converts who are disturbed by the unseen elements. It seems that there is a growing number. We have one that stops the individual from praying.
Do you know anyone who suffers a similar fate and if so, is there some recommendations for this convert ?

Yes i personally have seen jinns and so have my friends. It's not a pleasant experience.
Alhamdullilah it has not stopped me form my prayers. Allah has built our would with other unseen like Jinns, malaikat (angles) and of course shaitan.The Jinn and shaitan is made form fire and the angles froom light.
First of all, Human kind is far superior to Jinns. In order to understand them and eventually tackle this issue. We need to understand them and their atributes and what action we can take to if we are followed by one.
Please read this link to understand what are Jinns, what they do, their lifestyle, their attributes etc..
All about jinns: http://www.salamcards.com/stat...
As for this issue, there are 2 stories in the hadith. You can research more about it on your own time.
"Human beings are superior to Jinns. The Jinns can never harm human beings if tackled in the right manner. When a jinn starts to like someone he follows him or her around. If he does something extraordinary and that person gets frightened, the Jinn will tease him more but if he reacts in a brave manner, the Jinn will disappear.
Story 1:
Mujahid, a student of Ibn Abbas says:-
“After Ibn Abbas’s death a shaytaan would constantly appear before me in the form of Ibn Abbas whenever I started salaah. This got so worse that at times I was forced to break my salaah. So I decided to confront him next time he appeared and so I hid a dagger in my pocket and started salaah. When he came in front of me, I took out the dagger and jumped on him. He disappeared instantly and therafter he never came back.”
story 2:
Similarly, Hazrat Thanwi rahmatullahi alaihe has narrated that:-
“Once in the city of Kufa, in Iraq, a merchant arrived and was searching for a rented accommodation. All the properties were full and someone directed him to a house which was empty and believed to be haunted. He was so tired that he did not care and decided to rent the property. When he was retiring to bed a huge black jinn came in front of him. He immediately started to recite the ‘Ayatul Kursi’. The jinn also followed his recitation and when he read the words, ‘Wala ya’uduhu hifzuhuma’ (‘And their ( the sky and the earth) safeguarding does not burden him’) the Jinn could not follow and stopped. The person understood the consequences of the words and recited the same words again and again until the jinn faded away. The merchant went to sleep and in the morning when he got up he saw the burnt ashes in the place where the jinn appeared. He was burnt by the power of Allah.”
What action and precautiion to take:
Try not to stay in the state of impurity for a prolonged period.
-Perform salaah five times daily;
-Constant rememberance of Allah through zikr (the heart of a zakir is alive whereas a non -zakir’s heart is dead);
-If confronted by a Jinn then recite Auzu billah ......; Lahawla wa la quwwata..... and the last two chapters of Qur'aan, Qul auzu birrabinas and Qul auzu birabil falaq;
-Recite daily a few pages of Surah Baqara as shaytaan does not have the ability to enter a room in which Surah Baqara is read.

Allah knows best
salam bro mehboob n sister sultana
pls elaborate more on the experiences, bro mehboob. i think u mentioned that before. maybe u can post some stories and c if there is any way we can help.
Have not seen one, but I have seen those possessed by it.
My late grandmother had Jinn disturbing her during her last few years with us. We seeked help from Habib Hassan at Bak Alwie Mosque.
A friend of the family, a convert also faced disturbances from Jinns. He often had sleepness nights. His condition improved after seeking help from an Ustaz in JB.
And by coincidence, a member of my family is having a serious problem relating to the Unseen. All family members is fighting this with dzikir, doa and Solat Hajat.
We are also getting help from an Ustaz.
The individual needs to help him or herself. No point if the family is doing it or the whole neighbourhood. Jinns follws a particular person, so the person really need to take proactive action.
No ustaz or ustad can help anyone out except for giving advice and probably getting more people to read the Quran together. The issue will persist if the person do not take on active measures for him/herself.
The important thing i got out of reading about similar situation that happened during the prophet's time ( thorugh hadith) is for us to understand Jinns. Read those chapters in the quran that is recomended for us when faced with such things. (refer to my answer above, i know it helps) Do not be afrad of them, they are just like us. I also notice the more iman and taqwa a person has, it will really strengten us.
Even the prophet have seen shaitan and Jinns.He actually read the Quran infront of a Jin who eventually embrased Islam. Through those historical account (refer to my asnwer above) , you will find tht those people overcome the same issue by themselves, when they turned to the Quran and the teaching of the prophet.
I've heard people going to this or that ustad etc...but we actually have the tools to deal with this ourselves. Allah didn't create us and left us to deal with things without providing us the tools which we could do ourselves. :) I haven't read anything during the prophet's time that requires peole who were facing the same problem to go to an alim or ustad to read doa for him/her, probably blow into a water and make him/ her drink?
..hrmm....
Fill our home and our hearts with Quran, and the rememberance of Allah. The Jin probably wants the person to read more Quran, that why he's following them and teasing them.
Only allah knows.
Hmm. If the person is no longer conscious, how he is supposed to help himself ? Family members, neighbours have to help then.
I agree we should not be afraid of them.
They grow stronger when we are weak.
However that is easier said than done, when we have to face something scary in the middle of the night.
I think it is not wrong to get help from other people who are more knowledgeable. At least we can get good advice to strengthen our aqidah.
Just like when we are sick, we seek help from the doctor. In this case it is spiritual sickness.
I hardly call this sickness. If you read the links i gave and research more into this, living together with Jinn in this world is part and parcle of life. Most of the time, we don't realise it.
In my research quoted, it says that we are stronger than the Jinns.
If the person is unconcious, shouldn't we first get them to a doctor? What happen to this person? How did he became unconcious?
Putting aside the unconcious part because i dono what actually happen for this person to become unconcious and how an unconcious person can see jinns. that is quite freeky if this person suddenly wakes up and starts speaking in latin...brrr. If it's a case of exorcism, that is not the same as seeing jinns.
It's not not wrong to get support and advise from people around us, like i mentioned...what becomes the issue is when we depend on this ustaz to so call 'cure' us. I find that is it almost crossing the line of shirk. When anyone has this problem, the first think they think of is going to see an ustad or a bomoh. If that is the case the prophet should have seeked out somone to read doa for him. or the people during that time in history should have asked the prophet to constantly read doas and quran for them.
bottom line is hrmmm....no ustaz in the world is gonna make 'it' permenantly dissapear.
Yes, seeing it in the middle of the night is scary...it happends alot of the time for me and my friends. But i bet you if you were to do what the hadith and quran has priscribe, there won't be a real ungency to consistantly go to the Ustad to 'cure'. It is not a sickness or a disease.
IMO i feel that many people need to get the context of these beings which Allah has created.
The person did not speak in Latin, but takes on different characters,sometimes crying like a child, eating a lot of food in the middle of the night and so on.
Spent 6 days in a specialist hospital, after that we decided to get outside help.
I have read your links and I have done my own search. Cannot put the links here, because they are mostly in Malay.
Please differentiate between seeing a Bomoh and seeking help from an Ustaz. They cannot be categorized together.
