Q. The Way of Da'wa in Singapore?

When Zakir Naik's lecture is cancelled twice in two months, probably due to the nature and sensitivity of the topics, I think we as Muslim Singaporeans could consider asking some questions to ourselves in the light of our faith .

How does our da'wa function in the role of Muslim Singaporeans?

What or who is our role in this da'wa?

How do we communicate ourselves between Muslims, non-Muslims and converts?

There are not enough proper islamic education to serve the muslim population in Singapore due to our corrupted leaders. There is something sinister behind why he was canceled 2x. not because of the sensivity issues. But something bigger.

The question to ask is who are our leaders. Why are they preventing us from learning the truth. In islam things such as 'sensitive issues' are spoken and taught.

The propet (s.w.s) have warned us, there will come a time when our leaders will tell great lies. For example mosy of our islamic leaders are corrupted and they will lead us, inch by inch into the "lizard's hole". So beware and always seek Allah guidance.

Salams,

perhaps before we judge someone as corrupted and so on, perhaps you should get to know better, their roles, their position.

Its not easy to be them and they carry lots of burdens. Hence look from their perspective.

As much as we want to Islamise everything we must remember that Singapore is not an Islamic state hence there is a need of balance with other races and religion..

As for Dr Zakir Naik talks, it also a lesson for us and Darul Arqam too. They should have proper clearance and confirm everything before even announcing this talk.

Allah's knows best.

Insyallah some day the doors will be open and Allah will open the hearts of the authorities to allow such talks to be permitted in Singapore.

Wa'salam,
Fadzuli
