Although Islam preaches that we will not be a true believer till we wish for our brother what we wish for ourselves. Yet there is so much of hatred. Why is this so ?

How do you conclude that there is so much hatred ?
No doubt, there are some hatred between some Muslim groups e.g between Shia and Sunni.
In other countries there are some hatred between Muslims from different political parties.
In Singapore and most other countries Muslims generally do not hate each other.
