Q. Muslimah aurah

Assalamualaikum

as we all know, a Muslimah should cover herself as stated in some surah (such as surah An-Nur:31)..

do you think its OK for us to NOT wearing socks (provided that we've covered everything else that we're supposed to).. ??

i know its kind of a weird question. but i just wanna hear some opinions/ views frm others..
because we (women) wld often go to the wet market or just shop nearby to buy some household stuffs.. so we just prefer on wearing slippers/ sandals..
do you think its just alright or we should wear socks?

Hi, may Allah bless you with many returns...

I have 3 daughters and yes I must agree with you, its a dilemma.

Well I have always encourage muslimah to be as much of a muslim as they can be, but understand the line between being fanatic and liberal. To me being liberal is to be rational and practical in whatever you do. For as long it does not infringe the purpose of it all....so the choice is yours!

This is my own personal opinion and for the purpose of sharing thoughts.

May you find better guidance Insyaallah!
