4/07/2007 12:40:57 AMi think it could be to show the level to which they find something funny. I can't imagine girls doing it though. It seems to fit the big bellied laughing men type :)
It could also compare to the high fives we give our friends when we crack some really funny joke. just my 2c

Anw from what i noticed men these days tend to laugh like girls. And girls like men. My guy friends tend to laugh without any sounds and my girl friends tend to laugh out loud .

i haven't met anyone who slams the table when laughing.. it'd be weird though..lol..like abruptly doing that
