what is the exact percentage of malay/muslim in Singapore?

i am real curious as to what is the exact percentage of malay/muslim community right now? My impression is that it is within the range of 15-17percent of the total population.Hope someone could enlighten me ?Thanking you for your kind respond.

The http://www.singstat.gov.sg site shows a lot of information.

There is some varying data based on which documents you refer.

Here are the ones I could find.

The last few show as being most recent from 2007.

and according to them Malays form 14% of the total population.

and based on this page:

in 2000, 99.6% of the malay population were muslim. I believe this number has been decreasing over the years.
