Problems muslims faced in today's society

I hope in this thread everyone could share the problems every muslim are facing in today'society around the world. For example in Singapore, muslims are sometimes labelled by common issues such as crime, high divorce rate among young married couples, gap in average income and lower education etc...

How about muslims from other countries, what are the common problems you are facing as a muslim minority/majority in your country ? I hope we could share more interaction in this topic :)

I am not from another country but in the countries that I have been to, they speak highly of the Muslims here. So indeed we should be proud. Nevetheless that should not make us rest on our laurels. We need to sit up & improve the Muslim society to the best it can achieve. The key is in education. Both secular & religious which is lacking here. Insya Allah I have a dream some day to start a school which will provide this balance to anyone who reaches out. Ameen.

Yeah Mehboob agree..first we need the leaders who has a strong vision and words for the muslims. to propogate the force... which.....well kinda feel lacking on tt..I hope our next generation are better and capable to produce these people

Also relaize that Islam is Singapore is still targeted to usually the Malays. I feel that it is unfair with the newer generation of muslims who are mixed race or immigrants awho are residing in Singapore. We need active muslim organization for English speaking community groups like this website. For a English as a first language speaking country, the muslims here are highly lacking on this progress....<sigh>
