In my opinion there are pros and cons to be jealous of others' success.

If being jealous makes you want to improve on yourself to be better at your work, school or whatever you are jealous about then it is okay. Provided that what you are jealous about is what you are passionate about because whats the point of being successful just to prove the point that you are better than that person.

Futhermore as Muslims we shouldn't be jealous of others because as malay used the term 'rezeki orang' meaning that they have been successful because Allah swt gave them the success. I think we can admire them and learn from them on how to become success..its more proactive then being jealous.
