Salaam Bros and Sisters!
With the current downturn, IR is expected to boost the local recession and the availability to creating new jobs.
As a muslim, we are encouraged to work productively anywhere but to avoid being subahat or supporting any haram related network or within the organization.
1) Since IR is mostly made up of hotels, how do we actually know if Casino Profit Earnings have any contributions to the IR spenditures on it's employees? (I know the differences between small casino at shopping centres.)
2) How do we know if we as a muslims are contributing to them by paying our tax and being a tourist there and use IR's facilities or even entering Sentosa!? (I am not sure if there is any differences between KL Genting Highlands Hotels or Macau Hotels.)
3) Why do Singapore Pools contribute to tertiary schools for final year projects? Are these money halal to be consume by a muslim since we know where the money comes from?
Your answers are much appreciated. I am not against anything or anybody. Just wanna let people voice their opinions.

I remembered once discussing this with an Ustaz and he had a dalil on this which I can't recall clearly but let me try.
It does not matter how the other party earns the money but what matter is how you earn the money.
So you see the money you earn should be halal and far from corruption, cheating and so on.
And how the other party earns the money is not your concern because its between them and GOD.
And if you know that the other party earns the money through unlawful ways, stay away from them.
I hope that answers question 1.
Question 2.
We already are cos its already integrated to our system. As of now taxpayers money are already being pushed into the development of the IR.
Question 3.
Not every single cent earn by Singapore pools are received from Gambling. Perhaps majority but they also do earn from Investments and other channels.
Hence we can't completely say that the money contributed by them is not right and the schools do need the money to fund their projects.
