I think Singapore is not sport friendly. Majority are business oriented for the society with regards to sports.

Singapore does not have truly social oriented approach to accomodate sport facilities for the public to utilise at convincing subsidised rates.
But having said that, fortunately there are few badminton/takraw courts for the public which are well kept too (that's about it at the neighbourhood).

In general, majority of male youths are more incline to playing soccer. But if you look at available facilty at the neighbourhood, hardly can you find a decent open field where they can play.
As for the female youths, one hardly see active in sport publicly except at schools.

Whereas for adult men and women, mostly those who are discipline involved by regular jogging around the neighbourhood pavements or the running tracks or parks.
