Watch this video and give your thoughts.
I have no intention to add on fire with fire. This is just a reflection on everybody's account on the awareness of such behaviour.
This behaviour applies to everyone of us so that we learn and be mindful in the public.
I am not the one who recorded this. This was spread through the network of facebook and to let people know such character do exist in every inch of Singapore, perhaps the entire world as well.
I admit that I am annoyed and irritated by the lady's comments and reactions. But I hold no grudges against her. Because, we all know having these thoughts bring us no where.
But are we leaving in harmony or tolerance?
Peace Out!

First and foremost, that lady is just plain rude. Come on, it's a kid! I think she was being too sensitive about the hair thing.
But on the other hand, the mother of the kid is also a bad example to the girl. As a mother, I know you might want to protect your child, but do it appropriately! What would the child think? "My mother is fighting on the bus, everyone's staring." NOT a good model behavior.
It probably just happened that one is Malay and the other is Chinese. And as fights go, you would purposely goad on the other party if you wanna WIN. And that's not really racial harmony, it's just people harmony.
Peace, people.

Well perhaps before we go on arguing about. it, do we know what had happened before that event.
Perhaps the Chinese Lady had a bad day and you know when this slightest things happen you end up getting annoyed.
It happens to you me and everyone else from time to time also.
Its a good case study for everyone.
You see such stuff happens to celebrities, public figures, politicians too.
The Malay auntie should have walked away with the daughter too instead of arguing. What's the point right!

Sigh... as we are now in the 21st century.
We are more backward in terms of being civilized.
During the times of singapore in the age of kampung. The kampung spirit of helping each other and tolerant even though we might not understand each other's languages.
But now... we curse in a myriad of dialects and languages. Tolerance is only but just a word.
Sigh... Our asian values down the drain....
