i'm so happy. finally someone who knows something about this :)
Well, i'm looking for someone who can make a dress which i design. I should say it's closer to a Malay dress( baju kebaya.) It's simple but i'll like one with embroidery done on the blouse.
I'm also looking for someone who can sew an indian dress, but this is for after the wedding wear. slightly more casual. It's the salwar kameez (blouse and pants) dress for the indian one which i'm gonna design myself.
Please also let me know of the boutiques you know.

ok, now i get the better picture here...a wedding dress for engagement is it?? cos only engagement, dey rather make to measure dress...on ur wedding day(nikah) itself, im sure u wanna look even stunning right....
oklah, i know 1 boutique at tanjong katong which usually make wedding dress or somesort galmous outfits for hari raya..but its more to lace type..price range is between $150 n above...actually dey sew many kinds of patterns but u chld make ur choice ther...usually, i will send my raya outfits ther cos i like dey way dey sew my tube dress...i really fits well on my top...
as for salwar kameez (blouse and pants), im not really sure if dey cld do it..but u cld give it a try...but im sure only indian tailor shop wld be nicer on sewing thier traditional clothers rite...i cant help u on dat...

I'm doing my nikah dress. Not into the glamorous stuff. More simple kinda look.

i have a look at a few wedding boutique.. but they cost too much. i was thinking of tailoring my own dress if i'm paying for that kinda price. does anyone know where i can tailor a good wedding dress?
