What makes an ideal woman

i think its a tough question. it can be answered vaguely in Islamic perspective. there are many examples in our Islamic History of the greatest woman . All drown towards imaan, piety, and taqua. From the Queen of Sheeba , Firaun wife and as far as the prophets wives.

But in terms of the era that we are living, a great wife is one which bring out the best in her family/ husband and brings them closer to Allah. one which is the catalyst in this world and the hereafter. once which inspires, corrects the bad and encourages the good. the best team player she can be with her husband (who is also a team player).

now, for a daughter..i think that varies as well. the world is built on materiality expectation. The best daughter we can be is the best woman/ gal we can be towards Allah. That can be rather tough since family have their own personal expectation and agenda. They may think that therir daughter isn't Islamic enough or not achieving much in this world, in terms of career, job , marriage, or even your role as a daughter taking care of them.etc.

As long as you know that you are doing your very best towards Allah and you are not hurting them intentionally, helping them in any way you can. Never be rude to them or break your ties with them. And tell them as much as you can how much you appreciate them. i think that is the best that an individual can do as a daughter.
